Check-Out

Check-out is at 10:30 AM. Here's what to do before you go:

  • Lock the front door and return the key to the lockbox.
  • Latch the beach path gate (same code as the lockbox).
  • Start the dishwasher if you used it.
  • Turn off all lights and the wood stove if you lit a fire.
  • Take out trash and recycling to the bins by the driveway.

House Rules

  • Dogs are welcome! Max 2, under 60 lbs. There's a $75 pet fee.
  • No smoking anywhere on the property.
  • Please remove shoes at the door — the 1940s hardwood floors are original and precious.
  • Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am.
  • Two-car driveway parking only, no street parking.
  • Rinse off before using the hot tub and don't add anything to the water.

A Few House Notes

  • The wood stove is perfect on foggy nights — only burn oak from the log rack, no driftwood.
  • Please hand-wash the Japanese santoku knife (it's the pretty one).
  • If you spin any records, return them to their sleeves.
  • Sort your recycling properly — bins are labeled by the driveway.
  • The master bedroom windows are single-pane, so they get loud during storm swell — earplugs in the nightstand if you need them.
